How We Work

01

Clean & Protect

Full pressure wash to take off dirt, chalking and mildew. Then we cover your plants, decks and driveway, mask off the windows, and take down whatever comes off the house.

02

Surface Preparation

We scrape off the loose paint, sand the uneven spots, repair damaged wood, prime all bare wood, and caulk every gap where moisture could get in.

03

Painting

Two full coats of premium exterior paint. Doors, windows and trim are cut in by hand; stucco and siding get sprayed and back-rolled. Hand-cut lines where the trim meets the wall, and paint worked into the surface

04

Cleanup & Inspection

We clear the site, put every fixture back on the house, and give you the leftover paint for future touch-ups. If you’re not fully satisfied for any reason, we’ll fix it before the invoice is final.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Smaller homes usually land between $5,000 and $8,000, an average home between $8,000 and $15,000, and a large or complex home from $15,000 up. Where yours falls depends on the size, the number of storeys, the siding material, and how much washing, scraping and repair the surface needs before any paint goes on. The on-site visit is free, and you get an itemized quote so you can see exactly what each part costs.

No. Nothing gets added to your bill without your yes.

It depends on the size of your project and how booked we are. If you’re working to a hard deadline, put it in your message and we’ll work around it wherever we can.

An average single-family home usually takes X–Y working days, weather permitting. You get a firm start and finish date before we begin.

We watch the forecast and build buffer days into every exterior booking. If rain moves a day, you hear about it from us that morning and we tell you the new finish date at the same time.

We use exterior-grade products rated for coastal BC weather. We can work with premium or standard lines too. We’ll tell you the difference in durability, fade resistance, and the price difference between them. Colour matching and colour advice are included.

Yes. We’re fully licensed and carry both liability insurance and WCB coverage, plus we have certified training for elevated work. So you can hire with complete peace of mind.

You walk the space with us at the end and if you’re not fully happy with something, we fix it before the invoice is final.

Roughly late spring through early fall. Exterior paint needs a dry surface and consistent temperatures (usually above about 10°C) to cure the way it’s supposed to. We book the dry season quickly, so it’s worth getting on the schedule early.

We paint a variety of surfaces including wood siding, stucco, fibre cement (Hardie board), aluminium, brick, etc.

It’s a fair question. Older homes in this area can have lead-based paint under the current colour, which changes how the surface has to be prepared. We’re trained in lead abatement and we’ll flag it during the inspection if it applies to your house.
